오아시스라,,,,
Blur와 함께 브릿팝을 대표하는,, Neo British Invasion의 주축 밴드 오아시스,,,
사실 난 오아시스를 엄청 오래전부터 알고 있었음에도 그리 좋아하지 않았다. 갤러거 형제는 가끔씩 문제를 일으키며 쌈질하고,,, 콘서트 투어 도중에 쌈질을 해서 콘서트가 취소되는 경우도 봐왔다-_-;;;(또 화해하고 음반 내고 또 싸우고 참 신기할 노릇이다^^)
또한 런던 출신의(영국의 중산류층을 대변하는) 블러의 음악성이 왠지 더 뛰어난 것 같았고,,,
(그렇다고 블러를 또 아주 좋아하는 것도 아니니 나도 신기할 노릇이다..ㅎ)
맨체스터의(노동자 계층의) 오아시스는 너무나 대중적인 멜로디로 승부를 걸지 않나 싶었다.
(미국 시장에서 오아시스가 거둔 엄청난 성공에 비해 블러의 성과는 초라하긴 하다..ㅠ)
오히려 trash, beautiful ones, lazy의 suede를 더 좋아한 듯 싶다.

그냥 그러려니 살다가(?) Familiar to Millions 이 라이브 앨범을 듣게 됐는데,,,,
Don't look back in anger 이 노래를 듣고 완전 반해버렸다. 특히나 관객들이 부르는 그 후렴구란,,,,소름이 돋힐 정도로,,,,
혼자 듣기엔 너무나 아까워서 이렇게;;;;;(라이브 앨범은 웸블리에서 녹음된 건데 클립을 아무리 찾아봐도 없더라..꿩대신 닭)
